Some people keep fresh baked bread in the linen bag until it’s completely cooled from the oven and then place the linen wrapped bag in Tupperware or plastic so it doesn’t dry out. Linen prevents excess moisture/mold and plastic locks in freshness. So doubling up on storage methods can help it last longer. Fresh bread that won’t be eaten within 2 days can be stored in the freezer.
