This is an American Maker Lab Original Design, and a CUSTOMER FAVORITE -- great gift for your favorite grilling enthusiast, or for a treat for yourself. Trick out your grill with this beverage holder that's compatible with a variety of grills. The drink holder magnetically attaches to the steel sheet metal of your grill or smoker, and holds your drink for you, away from the heat of the grill so you can keep it chill. The whole idea is to stay cool while grilling and chilling.
NOTE: The product contains magnets. We recommend that you keep it away from things like computer hard drives, credit cards, pacemakers, so the magnets don't adversely affect those things. Out of an abundance of caution, we're letting you know so you can act accordingly.
STATEMENT OF MAGNETIC STRENGTH: The design was developed around a Traeger grill, and then we found that we could use it on other types of grills as long as the sheet metal was ferromagnetic- able to stick with a magnet. When properly installed, the holder is quite strong. We did a static weight load test using a dumbbell suspended from the holder, up to *20-pounds*, without letting go of the grill or breaking. For your safety, we do not condone or recommend this heavy load in regular use. But this information should provide you confidence that the magnetic strength is more than sufficient to safely support a 12-oz beverage of your choice without letting go, when used as intended, in accordance with our instructions. Our focus on this product was a *robust* design that meets/exceeds performance expectations.
