Read here for All details about this item! These special ceramic mugs can be personalized any way you wish! They are food safe, lead-free, microwave safe and dishwasher safe. These mugs hold 1-3/4 cups liquid (16 oz capacity). The interior of these mugs is typically painted white, but you may send me a note with your choice of any color in my shop. Speckled background comes with a speckled interior. The photo with Zoe with a rainbow over the paw print is a cute way to honor a passed pet. Shown with a large 24 oz mug for comparison

Care Instructions: These dishes are best if treated like fine china. Extreme temperatures like boiling hot water, and sitting in a sink full of water for hours might cause tiny crackles in the top coat. Gentle microwaving and dishwasher are fine. Any problems, contact me!
How to send the best photo of your pet: Look for the Message Seller button. Help Request button will work, too. Give me any specific requests like colors or words, and look for the camera icon (might be a mountain sun icon) Click on the icon to find your photos, to choose your photo. Find a photo that has natural bright lighting. Full sun will wash out colors and inside the house can be too dark. Bright shade is best, or near a window in the house. Make sure the eye color is visible or describe it to me. If you send one photo for the pose you like, and a reference photo or two to show the best fur color, I will combine the best of both.
The speckled background is a light tan color with tiny orange and black speckles that melt in my kiln to create a beach sand look. The option you may choose for speckled background is for one or two pets. (More than 2 pets on these mugs, leaves very little room for background)
I offer 4 pets on a mug, but each pet will be slightly smaller so they can all fit, a bit squeezed! I know how important it is to have all your family on 1 mug.

(When I say 16 ounce capacity for these mugs, I mean all the way to the top. In practical terms, these mugs hold 12 ounces comfortably without spilling while holding.) 16 ounces is the same as 2 measuring cups, 1/2 litre, or 500 ml.
These mugs are good for almost any beverage, however, if it's too hot to drink, it might damage the glass top coat. Please avoid boiling liquids.
Each order is carefully wrapped in slightly reused packing materials (I recycle everything!) I enjoy making cute handmade cards to hold the order slip. Each fun card is blank so it can be used again by you!
